You might want to take a look at Tracecompass [1]. Tracecompass already seems to
support some form of analysis for Virtual Machine [2]. Tracecompass also have
widget for remote controll of LTTng via ssh [3].

LTTng offers a CLI and a C API. LTTng does not offer any direct way to perform control
operations over TCP.
