Joe,
I do not see 3.6.32.26 on the list so I am trying .9.
It appears the patches built. Need to add the modules now.

I have had success using LTTng 0.198 with the 2.6.32.9 kernel. The LTTng
compatibility matrix is the best place to look for what you should
download. For example, it looks like you could go all the way up to
LTTng 0.226 with the 2.6.32.9 kernel. Now, 2.6.32.26 is not explicitly
listed in the compatibility matrix, but I would suggest pulling down a
version of LTTng that is compatible with the 2.6.32.X kernel and seeing
if the patches take.

I haven't tested, but
LTTng 0.x should work, It works on ubuntu 10.04 which uses 2.6.32
LTTng 2.0 would need some more love to work. I think the minimum kernel
is 2.6.36, see the readme
"So far, it has been tested on vanilla Linux kernels 2.6.38, 2.6.39 and
3.0 (on x86 32/64-bit, and powerpc 32-bit at the moment, build tested on
ARM). It should work fine with newer kernels and other architectures,
but expect build issues with kernels older than 2.6.36. The clock source
currently used is the standard gettimeofday (slower, less scalable and
less precise than the LTTng 0.x clocks). Support for LTTng 0.x clocks
will be added back soon into LTTng 2.0. Please note that lttng-modules
2.0 can build on a Linux kernel patched with the LTTng 0.x patchset, but
the lttng-modules 2.0 replace the lttng-modules 0.x, so both tracers
cannot be installed at the same time for a given kernel version."
Hope this helps.
