Well, to give you the gory details I was working on a similar cli app for 
another project and got really fed up with the amount of overhead for 
adding a single command, help was in one place, there was a long switch 
statement with variables here and there and longer commands were in 
separate files and so their functions had to be defined in header files. I 
counted at least 4 places that needed changing for each command that was 
to be added.

Well, if you want a list compile and run "ustctl -l" or -e or -h.

The whole point is to not need a list... :-)

What we could do is move the commands around so trace commands are in one 
file, marker commands are in another and so on... This could make good 
sense.
