Hi Sergey,

We recently stumbled upon your PDF "Dynamic Tracing with DTrace SystemTap",
at http://myaut.github.io/dtrace-stap-book/dtrace-stap-book-ns.pdf . We noticed
some outdated information about LTTng on page 14.

LTTng has _not_ required any kernel recompilation since LTTng 2.0, released in
2012. It hooks on the few hundreds of kernel tracepoints, and can also use
kprobes for dynamic instrumentation. Also, LTTng hooking on tracepoints does
not fit in the "debug printing" instrumentation class the document associates
it with.

Let us know if you need help to rectify those statements. You can find a
comprehensive LTTng documentation at http://lttng.org/docs

Best regards,

Mathieu
