[lttng-dev] What is the size overhead of UST tracepoints? (hint: very large indeed)

I agree. I dont remember which aspect of the tracepoints definition / registration came from where, since it is shared in large part between ftrace, perf and LTTng. Mathieu will be able to tell us more. He is currently traveling and probably not as close to his keyboard as usual.
