You are, by default, on the "master" branch of lttng-modules, which is
undergoing a rather large development effort.

The LTTng kernel tree on kernel.org matches these "stable" releases.

So you should checkout the v0.19-stable branch of the lttng-modules git
tree. It should all work fine.
