Hi,

Support for 3.0+ kernels is through the LTTng 2.0 toolchain, which is
still in pre-release at the moment. See http://lttng.org/lttng2.0

On the kernel side it's all contained in modules, no more patchset is
needed.
"lttng-tools" replaces the lttctl client for trace control.

It outputs a new trace format, which is not compatible yet with LTTV.
Work will start very soon on rewriting/porting LTTV to the new format.
For now you can use the Babeltrace tool to ouput the traces to text.
