Hi all,
currently I try to get lltng up and running on a ppc 8247. Compilation and
installation of the latest tools work fine.

I use Kernel 2.6.33.4 and ltt-control-0.86-19052010.

I execute the steps described in the lttng manual. Now after mounting debugfs I
am starting the trace:

-bash-3.2# lttctl -C -w /tmp/trace1 trace1
Linux Trace Toolkit Trace Control 0.86-19052010

Controlling trace : trace1

lttctl: Creating trace
lttctl: Forking lttd
Linux Trace Toolkit Trace Daemon 0.86-19052010

Reading from debugfs directory : /mnt/debugfs/ltt/trace1
Writing to trace directory : /tmp/trace1

lttctl: Starting trace

After some time I stop the trace:
-bash-3.2# lttctl -D trace1
Linux Trace Toolkit Trace Control 0.86-19052010

Controlling trace : trace1

lttctl: Pausing trace
lttctl: Destroying trace

and dmesg says:
LTT state dump begin
LTT state dump thread start
LTT state dump end
LTT: 4 events written in channel metadata (cpu 0, index 0)

But there are at every time only this four events and nothing more. Do I miss
something?

Any comments are appreciated.

Best regards
Holger Brunck
