I have a question about the LTTng compatibility matrix at:
http://ltt.polymtl.ca/svn/trunk/lttv/doc/developer/lttng-lttv-compatibility.
html
...
LTTng 0.123 supports kernel 2.6.29.1.
LTTng 0.124 fixes a mutex circular dependency in ltt-trace-control.
LTTng 0.125 supports kernel 2.6.30-rc1.
LTTng 0.126 supports kernel 2.6.30-rc2.
LTTng 0.129 finally gets merge with event tracer right.
...
I am running a 2.6.29.2 kernel, so how should I read the compatibility
matrix?
Does the lack of mention of 2.6.29.2 mean that it is not supported and that
I should {up|down}grade my kernel, or does it mean that I can use a
{new|old}er set of patches?
(I have tried quilting the 0.136 patch set onto kernel 2.6.29.2 with no
luck, but don't know whether it is my use of quilt that is in error or my
starting materials.)
Thanks in advance.
